How do I identify a Schneider XCR part number when it’s not indicated on the housing?
In the past XCR limit switches weren’t identified by a label showing the complete reference. For example, on the obsolete XC2R, the following parameters are needed to define the XCR reference:
1. Contact type – snap-action or slow break (identification by simple actuation)
2. Lever- or rod-type (visible on the switch to replace)
3. Actuation cam inside the housing (marked). Please note, the obsolete XC2R limit switches used the same cams as the XCR.
