What are Form 1 inductive proximity sensors?

Generally, for the detection of non-ferrous metals, standard inductive proximity sensors must have their sensing distances derated by the correction factor provided by the sensor manufacturer. However, Form 1 sensors are made to detect ferrous and non-ferrous metals without the need for correction factors.
