We detect shiny objects using retroreflective sensors with mirror surface rejection but malfunctions happen. Why is this and how can it be solved?
Reflected light received from an object may result in an unstable operation. Try performing a test before you use sensors for sensing objects with an extremely high degree of shine, or for objects where transparent film is applied.
