Are there details on configuring the 11713A to simultaneously drive five 8765A/B/C/D/F SPDT Microwave switch assemblies?

The following details are provided for configuring the 11713A to simultaneously drive five 8765A/B/C/D/F SPDT switches. The cable to drive five switches is Keysight part number 5061-0969. This is a 12-conductor cable to 12-pin twist lock Viking connector, 60 inches long. The 8765A/B/C/D/F switches must have option 324 (+24Vdc coil voltage with solder terminal connection posts). The cable is connected to either the "ATTEN X" or "ATTEN Y" Viking connectors on the 11713A rear panel. The 5061-0969 when connected to the "ATTEN X" connector combines the S9 drive connections. Similarly, the 5061-0969 when connected to the "ATTEN Y" connector combines the S0 drive connections. As a result, the 5061-0969 cable allows interconnection and drive capability for up to a maximum of five 8765A/B/C/D/F SPDT switches. Since the 8765A/B/C/D/F switches DO NOT employ current interrupt capability a maximum of five 8765A/B/C/D/F SPDT switches may be driven simultaneously. This limitation is based upon the 120 mA current consumption for each switch, regardless of switch position. The maximum current sourcing capability for the 11713A is 650 mA; thus, the 5-switch limitation. Below are GPIB command examples to force various switch selections.Five Switches Connected through the 11713A "ATTEN X" ConnectorS1S2S3S4S5Command10000A1B234901100A23B14900011A49B12311111A123491 0 10 1 A139B24 Five Switches Connected through the 11713A "ATTEN Y" ConnectorS1S2S3S4S5Command10000A5B678001100A67B58000011A80B56711111A5678010101A570B68As noted above, the command to engage a section is "Ax" where x is in the range of 0...9, i.e. "A1", "A2",..., "A9". The command to disengage a section is "Bx" where x is in the range of 0...9., i.e. "B1", "B2",..., "B9". A "0" above indicates the configuration will result in the switch RF common connecting to RF Port 1. If connected to the 11713A "ATTEN X" connector, then associated front panel "Attenuator X 1 through 4" or "Switches 9" LEDs are OFF (or non-illuminated). If connected to the 11713A "ATTEN Y" connector, then associated front panel "Attenuator Y 5 through 8" or "Switches 0" LEDs are OFF (or non-illuminated). A "1" above indicates the configuration will result in the switch RF common connecting to RF Port 2. If connected to the 11713A "ATTEN X" connector, then associated front panel "Attenuator X 1 through 4" or "Switches 9" LEDs are On (or illuminated). If connected to the 11713A "ATTEN Y" connector, then associated front panel "Attenuator Y 5 through 8" or "Switches 0" LEDs are ON (or illuminated).
