Beginning with PXB firmware version 2.2.0.14, application software updates are not provided as part of the PXB firmware.

N5106A PXB firmware versions 2.2.0.14 and earlier, real-time applications such as LTE were “embedded” in the firmware, application updates were obtained by installing PXB firmware.  Beginning with PXB firmware version 2.2.0.14, application updates are now deployed independent of the PXB firmware.  This is similar to other signal generator products.  Application updates for PXB can be downloaded from the specific Signal Studio download page.   Always check the release notes to confirm there is an update to the application you need before downloading a new version of Signal Studio.
