Create waveform 2. Save as .arb or .barb in chosen file location   Create new sequence 1. File> new > Sequence Ensure that instrument model is correct in dialog box 2. Select load waveform 3. Navigate to saved. arb/.barb file and click open 4. Change play control settings: (once until trigger, repeat, repeat infinite, repeat until trigger). If repeat, change repeat count: 5. Save the  sequence 6. Save sequence file in chosen location Editing the waveform If the sequence/waveform is desired to be edited, proceed with steps 7 to 11 7. Double click on waveform to be edited: 8. Highlight the waveform 9.  Select waveform math 10. Select operation desired (example is multiplication, constant, multiply by 2). Click OK Observe scaled waveform in Benchlink Waveform window 11. File > Save. When the sequence file is next opened the waveform should have the new parameters (you will need to double click the waveform once more to check the Vp-p and other parameters). It is advised to save the new .arb file with the parameters in the file name. Playing the sequence on the 33600 waveform generator Loading sequence file onto 33600 waveform generator with a USB flash drive 1. Copy the .seq file AND the sequence folder to the USB drive. 2. Eject USB from PC and insert into 33600 USB slot Output sequence from USB drive The waveform can be played from the external USB drive by selecting the .seq file in the ARBs menu:  3. Waveform> Arb> Arbs> Select Arb 4. Use rotary knob and arrow cursor keys to navigate to external USB then .seq file 5.  Press "select" 6. Press channel 1 hard key 7. Toggle output to "on". Output sequence from internal memory Copy sequence to internal memory To copy the  sequence file to the internal memory, you must perform a copy operation for both the .seq file and the sequence folder: On the 33622A/B: 1. System > System Setup > Manage Files 2. press the "browse" soft-key 3. Using the rotary knob and the cursor arrows, locate you . seq file  4. Click "select" 5. Press the "copy path" soft key 6. Press select on the internal folder of choice (or simply on the general internal memory folder) 7.  Press the "perform copy" soft key Repeat steps 1-7 but on this occasion select your sequence folder. Refer to the instructions in "output sequence from USB drive" only this time navigate to the .seq file in the internal memory Editing the sequence file on the 33600 Waveform generator The sequence file cannot be saved after the parameters have been edited. The waveform generator will display "unable to save file". However the .arb/.barb files which are contained within the sequence folder can be edited: Repeat the instructions above to load the .barb file instead from the sequence folder in the internal memory 1. Select "parameters" hard key 2. Change the parameters as desired 3. Select the Arbs soft key 4. Press "save changes" soft key Repeat for all .arb/.barb files in the sequence folder
