BPS: Errored Strikes

Operational "How to" Guides. Certain Malware strikes will "Error" out when running them in the Malware component. Check to see if the test contains any "Live Malware" strikes. If any of these strikes contains names such as "Package 00000000, Malware Sample 00000001", then the old, live malware packages must be installed in order to fix this issue. The link for these packages are below: https://support.ixiacom.com/malware-and-botnet-packs To install these packages: 1. Log into the webUI 2. Click on the wheel on upper right corner -- Administration -- BreakingPoint 3. On the ATI Updates Tab click on "Manual Updates" and attach the file 4. Click OK and wait for the progress bar to finish before continuing on to the next package Once these packages are installed the associated malware will no longer error out.
