Yes, you can adjust many test parameters. For example, you can adjust channel bandwidths and frequency offsets for ACPR measurements. However, you cannot adjust the modulation parameters such as data rate, demodulation filter, or modulation type.We also offer the 89601A VSA software for flexible demodulation. This software interfaces with the E4406A and PSA through GPIB or LAN to use the instrument as a digitizer. The flexible demodulation analysis is done in the 89601A VSA software. The 89601A has >= 28 modulation formats and >= 8 filters.
