The 8643A/44B/64A/65A/65B sources support the standard commands for programmable instruments (SCPI) language set. The N897x NFA family includes an option for LO control via the SCPI command set. However, the RF OUPUT ON/OFF SCPI command is different between the sources and the embedded setting with the NFA. If you utilize the default SCPI command set, an "Invalid data mnemonic" message is indicated in the display of the source.
