Can I control an external source with the ESA Series Spectrum Analyzer Noise Figure solution?

External source (or External LO) control is not available with the Noise Figure Measurement Personality and Hardware, Option 219, for ESA-E Series Spectrum Analyzers. The hardware used with Option 219 does not include a GPIB or RS-232 interface for this purpose. In addition, the ESA firmware does not allow the analyzer to act as a system controller. For automated applications, it may still be possible to make measurement using an external source.
