Can I control the large slot tunable laser wavelength using an external analog voltage?
There are several techniques which can be applied to scan the tunable laser wavelength. One of the techniques uses an external analog voltage and is specified as Wavelength Locking. The change in wavelength is roughly proportional to the voltage (+/-5V) applied to the BNC input connector on the front panel. This allows fine tuning of the wavelength within a limited range. For example, a +/- 5V sine wave input at 10 Hz will tune the laser +/- 70 pm. A +/- 5V sine wave input at 100 Hz will tune the laser +/- 7 pm.
