Can I do SONET/SDH jitter compliance measurements?

SONET/SDH jitter measurements require bandpass filtering of the baseband jitter spectrum. For example, at 10 Gb/s jitter below 50 kHz and above 80 MHz is removed from the measurement. Using clock recovery, the loop bandwidth effectively high-pass filters jitter. It does not provide any low pass filtering (for example, to reject jitter above 80 MHz). Thus, only approximate values can be obtained.
