You can set the Carrier to Noise Ratio if your E4438C also has the Calibrated Noise personality (Option 403) and its firmware revision is C.04.10 or later, you can use both Dual ARB signal and real-time AWGN simultaneously. You can access this function by the following operation. With the waveform downloaded to E4438C: Press Mode, Dual ARB, ARB Setup, and Real-time Noise Setup. Set Carrier to Noise Ratio, Carrier Bandwidth, and Noise Bandwidth Factor, and turn Real-time Noise to On. Note : If you want the AWGN to be added when the WLAN burst is off, you should change the marker 2 assignment from Pulse/RF Blank to ALC Hold.
